Telya leaves Whyzdom 30/06/2010

We are very sad to announce that Telya recently decided to leave WHYZDOM.

We want to thank Telya for all the great moments we shared. They will remain in our memories forever. We wish her an enormous success and  we surely will have the pleasure to hear and see her again in other projects that will reveal her great talent.

Dear Friends,

Good things have an end... all the Whyzdom family is now back home, and the adrenaline that was keeping us awake, despite the very few hours of sleep we could have each day, is vanishing. This was an ENORMOUS adventure ! It was really great to have the opportunity to meet Delain's fans, and to see them so open to our music. It was also a great pleasure to meet our own fans who support us from so long !

We also would like to say that we are deeply thankful towards Delain. They have been so nice, so warm. It has been an unforgettable experience that we shared with them.

So... Thank you Delain, and see you next week at the Metal Female Voices Fest !

We will support DELAIN next october ! It's gonna be a fantastic tour and a great deal of fun ! We hope to see as many fans as possible ! Be sure not to miss a concert near you : we will play in Toulouse, Madrid, Barcelona, Marseille, Lyon, Strasbourg and Paris between the 2nd and the 8th of October !

The best thing of all is that we will play again with DELAIN at the Metal Female Voices Fest !

Debut Album almost ready - 26/04/2009

Our debut album "From The Brink Of Infinity" is almost complete. The mastering will be done by Markus Teske, who usually works with VANDENPLAS, but also worked with SYMPHONY X !

Recording sessions of the first album - 11/07/2008

We are happy to announce that the recording of our first album is under way. We are now in the studio, recording 11 tracks. Some songs are quite long (up to 9 minutes !) and will probably be divided in several sections. Here are the titles of the songs :

We are finished with Nico's parts (drums) and working on the bass guitar now with Tristan. We will record the guitars, the keyboard and the vocals in august. Then the choir and the orchestra parts in september/october. The album will be mixed and mastered in november/december !

Our artist friends will normally work on the booklet artwork in september/october with new photos.

WHYZDOM signed to ASCENDANCE RECORDS - 23/03/2008

It is a great pleasure to announce that we just signed with the great british label ASCENDANCE RECORDS, specialized in female fronted metal music ! The recording sessions of our first album are scheduled for this summer. We'll do our best to have it released before Christmas !

WHYZDOM first EP : "Daughter Of The Night" available soon - 03/02/2008

We decided to change some details of our first EP : it is finally entitled "Daugter Of The Night" and the artwork and booklet design has been done by Ex-Nihilo Design. Due to early discussions with some labels, there will only be 4 tracks... but let's hope that this effort will draw attention of a great label to help us release the whole album as soon as possible !!!

 

WHYZDOM to play at the 2nd METAL LADIES FEST, PARIS - 07/01/2008

We are very happy to announce that we will be playing at the second edition of the METAL LADIES FEST in Paris, France, next 25th of May !!!! Our friends of the band ROSA NOCTURNA are organizing the event.
We hope to see you there ! If you live outside from France, what a fantastic occasion to visit Paris, isn't it ? ;)

The final mix of our first EP will be ready first week of december. It will be used to find a label.

The final mix will be ready first week of december. Then, it will have to be mastered, which will take some more days. Then, we will go on contacting labels.
In the meantime, Ravendusk Design has been contacted to work on the cover artwork. Some of you might already know the artist, since the latest KAMELOT album (Ghost Opera) booklet was designed by her !

Our website is now online - at last ! Thank you for your patience. It is still under construction though. We will update it as often as possible with, hopefully, gig dates, extracts, photos, videos.

Shootings of our first video clip at CHATEAU DE CULAN - 17/06/2007

We had a fantastic opportunity for our first video-clip : Daughter Of The Night.
M. Marquis invited us at the CHATEAU DE CULAN, which often hosts CREATIONS VULTUS shows, to shoot it. The meeting was organized by Magali and Franck (VULTUS). The clip was shooted by a fantastic team - a BIG thank to all of them :

- Ghislaine PUJOL : realisation - Florent CUAZ : light and photos - Celine - aka FAITH : script - Cathy DELAHAYE : make-up - Audrey HAD3SIA : make-up - Magali BECARD (VULTUS) : dresses - Franck : Bolognese Spaghettis (yeah !) - Adrien FAVRE : actor - Michael MAZAUBERT : actor - WHYZDOM : musicians and actress of course !

The final clip will be put together next August. We're all very impatient to see the result ! Photos of the shooting can be seen in the Gallery section.
